About SpiceJet Airlines:
SpiceJet is a privately owned Indian low-cost carrier. It was founded in 2005 and headquartered in Gurgaon, Delhi. SpiceJet is India's’ third largest airline in terms of the number of passengers carried where it operates 312 flights daily to 45 domestic destinations and 10 international destinations. The main operational hub is Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in New Delhi, and secondary operational sites are located in Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (CCU) in Kolkata and Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD) in Hyderabad. To meet the burgeoning domestic travel demands, SpiceJet has signed a letter of intent in June 2017 to purchase 50 Bombardier Q400 aircraft.
