Harrington Hall is an excellent boutique Townhouse hotel that combines a superb location in prestigious Dublin 2 with good quality accommodation in a style that befits it's location. It is named after its most famous former resident, Timothy Charles Harrington, former Lord Mayor of Dublin. (GW 09/2012)
A charming but basic hotel - more akin to a B and B. The hotel makes a great base from which to explore all that Dublin City has to offer and the Luas Tram passes nearby making all areas in the city accessible. It is great value and this part of Dublin with the Canal is a good part to base yourself in. The hotel also has a nightclub directly attached to it, so on Friday's and Saturday's it can get noisier. Location The hotel is located close to Newlands Cross, overlooking the main Dublin to Cork/Limerick N7 dual-carriageway. It is situated only about 15 km from Dublin City centre and only a few minutes from Punchestown Racecourse, the Curragh, Kildare Village outlet mall and Marlay park - a popular concert venue. Opposite the hotel is Corkagh park, a huge public park with fishing lakes, a rose garden, coffee shop, baseball diamond and plenty of wide open space. Dublin Airport is about 12 km away. ***Due to unforeseen circumstances, the leisure centreat the hotel is currently closed.
