Founded in 1818, the museum houses almost 14 million items from the areas of natural history, history, arts, music, and librarianship all located in many buildings. A great deal of work has been put into collecting new materials over the museums long history and this is a landmark you shouldn’t miss. Wander along the beautiful and impressive Charles Bridge and visit Prague Castle, a massive and impressive building. Steeped in history and rich in the stories it has to tell the Guinness Book of Records lists Prague Castle as the largest ancient castle in the world.
