Villa Olmi Resort

Villa Olmi Resort is an 18th century villa set in a six hectare estate on the outskirts of Florence, five kilometres from the cathedral square. It has 50 air conditioned guestrooms, over two floors, with fine antique artworks, wooden beams and terracotta floors. All offer separate sitting areas, minibars, satellite plasma screen television, direct dial telephones, wireless Internet access and safes. Marble bathrooms feature hot tubs, hair dryers, robes and telephones. Hypo allergenic bedding is available. The gourmet Villa Olmi Restaurant, with its vaulted ceilings and wrought iron chandeliers, serves traditional Tuscan dishes with an extensive wine list, and guests can also order light snacks and sandwiches from the poolside garden area. The Osteria Colonica, with a more intimate, rural atmosphere, offers light meals and freshly baked pizzas. Guests can enjoy the hotel's landscaped gardens, soak up the sun by the poolside, unwind with a drink in the bar, and appreciate the elegant 18th century architecture and collection of fine paintings and sculptures. Staff at the 24 hour front desk and concierge desk can offer help booking tours and tickets, and there is all hours room service, babysitting services, airport transfers, ample free parking, a business centre and wireless Internet access throughout. The hotel is well placed to explore beautiful Florence and the surrounding area; the Bargello National Museum and Ponte Vecchio Bridge are both five kilometres from the hotel. Florence Vespucci Airport is six kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.
