Overview
Dhankar Gompa/Monastery is one of the oldest Gompa of Spiti. Once you reach at top, then you gonna love the view from there and one can see Confluence of Spiti and pin river from the top view
This monastery resembles a fortress, which in fact is correct as the king of those times had constructed it as a sort of a fortress to protect against invaders. The view of the valley from the top is excellent although a little vertigo inducing.
