Maniram village society is a registered society working in the field of Ecotourism since 2007.Maniram is a small beautiful village inhabited by the Tamang community. Nestled in the hills at 4600ft above sea level, the village experiences a pleasant climate all year round. Homestay provides a unique experience to its visitors exposing them to the rich local culture, traditional lifestyle,art and sumptuous home cooked traditional meals. A very warm welcome in an elaborate traditional fashion is extended by the village community to each one invited to stay at their homestay as one of the village families. The accommodation is simple yet comfortable with good bedding and attached clean toilet facilities. Delicious local organic delicacies are served and the guest are offered the unique experience of eating their meals with the host family as one of the family member. Fun and entertainment is a way of the Tamang community and they are well recognised as entertainers and fun lovers among all the communities of Sikkim. Each night the guests are entertained by showcasing a variety of cultural programmes, dance and folk songs. The guest cannot help resist joining in with the locals and singing and dancing along with them.
