Overview
We are a ten bedroom manor house located on 30 acre coffee estate at the end of a two kilometre drive from the main road in Kutta. All rooms are large, in fact have 3 beds, usually a double and a single although two rooms are all single beds. All en-suite bathrooms and all have a veranda/balcony. Ample parking, separate restaurant and kitchen, tandoori/grill and separate garden sit outs. We have near an acre in size lake that boating and fishing can be enjoyed upon. We are the process finalising on a swimming pool that will be operational by next summer (February 2019) The house, restaurant and kitchen, pumps etc. all connected to a backup KOEL 35KVA generator.
Activities and other USP characteristics of our property are as follows: Nagarhole wildlife safari park is 5km from our property, either guests can take the regular bus safari at Rs 300 per head (last 1 hour) or the Jungle Lodges jeep safari for 1300 per head (last 2.5 hours) We also have Tholpetty safari in the North Wayanad reserve forest, this is again 5 km away and is done in a jeep costing Rs 600 plus Rs.150 a head. Trekking can be arranged on the Brahmagiri hills either with the Karnataka forest department or the Kerala forest department.
Irupu falls is 8 km away and is a popular guest activity. We also do nature walks on our estate and a longer estate walk. In house (and garden) we have volleyball, badminton, archery, billiard table (actually pool) caroms and many more board games. A camp fire is a regular weather permitting.
