Hotel Rajaprastham

This place is rightly regarded as the central junction which leads to places like Calicut and Palakkad. It was the seat of renowned ancient Sanskrit scholars like Punnasseri Nambi's Sree Neelakanta Shrama, one of the scholars, founded a Sanskrit College (now taken over by the Govt of Kerala), here in 1899. The famous Agricultural Research station, was established here in 1927
