UDS CAFE AND HOME STAY ABOUT THE SPACE: Built in the year 1978, also known as the KINS Cottage, is located away from the city noise and at the entrance of Dehradun from Delhi. We are 1.5 Km away from ISBT and 15 minutes drive from the railway station. UDs can accommodate the guest in double and triple sharing basis. One of the 4 rooms is interconnected and can accommodate up to 6 persons, one bathroom to each of its rooms along with a separate pet room, where you can accommodate your pet. Yes! We are pet friendly. There is an in house caf by the name UDs Caf where our guests can enjoy theirs meals and also laze about in the sun. There is ample in-house parking space. GETTING AROUND: UDs Home stay is 1.5 Km away from ISBT and once can hire a cab or take an auto. We are on the Graphic Era College road. Railway station is 7Km away. The nearest Airport is Jolly Grant Airport and one can get a taxi from the prepaid taxi counter and reach in approximately 1 hour. If you are driving down from Delhi you will reach UDs as soon as you enter Dehradun, we are 300 meters inside from the main road, next to the Oriental Bank ATM. NEIGHBORHOOD: Buddha Temple is 700 meters away, this temple houses one of the largest gold plates statue of Lord Buddha. Graphic Era College is just 350 meter away from the Home stay. In the evening once can relax at the clement town lake which is again only 1 km away from UDs. Wildlife Institution Of India is 2.3 Km away. One also has a lot of options when it comes to renting a bike and riding in and around Dehradun, Mussoorie is the nearest hill station to Dehradun.
