Sun n Soil backpacker hostel came into existence from the story of two travelers; two wandering souls who used to travel to places away from the hustle-bustle of cities. The beauty of this place was just astonishing, which presented the very basic living from farm to natural springs to cows. Having already explored the country and witnessing the magic in the smallest things, this hostel is created with an idea for travelers to find their own stories to share and listen. We know what it is like to want to be comfortable traveling, and to be able to come to a home after long flights and feel safe and relaxed. That is why our spot here is perfect- we are located almost directly next to Dehradun Airport, and you can come straight to us to breathe and indulge in our peaceful and inviting home. Our hostel has everything necessary to feel comfortable but at the same time have a real authentic Indian village life experience. We WANT you to feel at home here, see the way we live, heal the way we do with our organic foods and farming and we invite you to become a part of our lifestyle while all the while staying in a hostel like environment- Wifi, new friends in dorms, home-cooked meals, rentable scooters, and cycles and so many areas to explore. That is one part, the other is even more intriguing as the eye-catching green landscape, the musical wildlife, and the rich air filtered by Rajaji Tiger Reserve makes it a perfect destination for those who search for a calm and healthy environment. Last but not least, the food served here is grown here organically, along with the diverse amount of knowledge base from various learning workshops that make it a perfect blend of leisure and exploration. We have created a hostel that is like a home.
