Shangri-la Regency

Hotel Shangri-la Regency has 12 rooms, Rooftop Lounge and a Bar. Each room has an en suite bathroom and 24 hrs running hot & cold water. Every room has Cable TV, in-house telephone, tea coffee tray and a safe. The Double Deluxe & Delux Attic rooms are of a standard size hotel room and ideal for two guests. Most double deluxe rooms have private balconies. The Suites have a bedroom and a small separate sitting room with a private balcony and if required can accommodate 1 or two extra persons comfortably. The Roof Top Lounge has a fantastic 180* panoramic view of the spectacular Kanchenjunga mountain range and the tea gardens below, probably the best views in town. The hotel has five floors altogether, and whilst (as with all other hotels in Darjeeling) there isn't a lift, the design of the building reduces the effort needed to climb the stairs!

Breakfast is included in the hotel tariff and is served in the Rooftop Lounge. The Indian breakfast is a choice of stuffed parathas, aloo puris with aloo dum and mixed vegetables, pickles and curd, juice, tea or coffee. Alternatively, you can have two eggs cooked to your preference, sausages with hash browns, fried tomatoes, toast, butter and jam, juice, tea or coffee. If you prefer breakfast in your room we will most happily oblige at no extra charge.

Hotel Shangri-La Regency does not prepare lunch or dinner, however meals can be taken at the restaurant in Hotel and Restaurant Shangri-La (about 5 min walk) or, if guests prefer, it can be delivered to Hotel Shangri-La Regency at no extra cost. Please note if food is ordered from Hotel and Restaurant Shangri-La, Mall Road then there is a minimum waiting period of a minimum of 60 minutes.
