The Birchwood Retreat is located on a 400 acre coffee estate - Koorgahully Estate - near Sunticoppa, Coorg, though the Retreat itself is on an independent 33 acre plot. The Retreat will have 27 rooms in 9 individual Villas and 6 rooms in a Clubhouse, a total of 33 rooms. The property is close to the Harangi river and the dam, and is conveniently located for the major tourist attractions in North Coorg the Golden Temple in Bylakupe, the Dubare Elephant camp, Nisargadhama Island on the Cauvery, Madikeri, Abbe Falls, Mandalpatti, Bagmandala and Brahmagiri. As also, the mystical source of the Cauvery, Talacauvery. We are not a typical, large format, impersonal resort. Far from it.
