We built this farmhouse as a Get away from the city and aptly named it Nivaant meaning Leisure. This place lives up to its name and we are sure that you will love it. It is located in Chaul which is 17 kms ahead of Alibag on the way to Murud. The house is located amidst a coconut and supari plantation. The house comprises of a Living Room, kitchen and a bedroom in addition to Front patio and Terrace. This place is ideal for friends or two or three families looking to spend quality time together. There is one double bed in the bedroom, a sofa cum bed in the common area and a divan in the living room. In addition floor mattresses can also be provided, if required. Authentic home made coastal cuisine can be provided by the caretaker on prior intimation at a nominal charge. The air conditioning has not been intentionally provided on the property as weather is extremely cool, even in the summer. The property has two toilets (both western WCs) and one bathroom with geyser. Guests are expected to get their own towels and personal toiletries. The patio in the front of the house has a swing and ample seating for enjoying your morning cup of tea. The terrace makes a perfect place for spending your evenings with your near and dear ones for coffee, conversations and more. Nivaant is located in the serene village of Chaul. It is about 17 kms from Alibag on the State Highway towards Murud. Nagaon beach is at a distance of 5 kms and takes about 20 mins to reach and Revdanda is about 3 kms from Nivaant. Other places of interest in the vicinity are Birla Mandir (5 kms), Datta Mandir a traditional temple atop a hill (walking distance and takes 20 mins) Kashid beach (30 kms), Akshi beach and Murud beach and Janjira Fort (45 kms). Forts such as Revdanada Fort and Korloi are closer and worth a dekho. Nearest market is at Revdanda.
